I've been a cat owner for most of my life and if you know anything about having inside cats is that all cats would prefer to be outside if they could. I found a site that specializes in
invisible fencing for dogs, but they also provide
invisible cat fencing. as well.
I can't imagine my cat getting a "correction" (fancy word for shock) because he crossed the line in the yard. I've never met anyone that actually has used this product and I've been looking for online reviews. It just seems a little crazy to me.
Here's a picture of the device:

Cat Fencing
I'm not saying that this is completely crazy because I'd love to see my cat, Kaspurr, stay the hell of of the kitchen counter. Every morning he's up there in the sink licking the last bit of milk out of min or my wife's cereal bowl. If I can find some really positive reviews I think I might look into this as a solution to keep my cat where's he's suppose to be.
I ran across this site today and figured I'd share: http://www.chowmember.com/
Enjoy!
I'm a satisfied customer and Nine Felines Endorses Pet Mountain . They have great service, fast shipping, and the best prices I've seen on cat food. Shop for your monthly supplies by clicking on the link below.
I've had Kaspurr since he was a kitten and I make it a point to interact with him directly on a daily basis. Every cat has their things that they do, but Kaspurr will follow me around and attempt bite me around the foot/ankle/leg areas.
I'm aware that these pleas for my attention have reasons. The top 2 are: Hungry or Bored There is a chance that these bites could be a display of affection,. but I know better,. he doesn't care about me.

This is one of my cats, Kaspurr. This photo was taken while he was in his "Love Bite" mode.
This goes out to our massively huge fan pool of 2.5 people:

Site changes will be starting again soon,. hopefully anything we can do to make this current page suck less.
I was wondering today how many cat blogs are out there and of those how many people actually read them?
You'd think that there would be quite a few, and in the same breath, not that many readers. Few things in life are as subject as a relationship with your cat.
After further review, it's arguable that any or most relationships are subjective. The reason I say that is that no one really cares about the dynamics of any relationship they're not in. Unless it's soap opera or realty show quality. What I mean is that no one is actively going to listen to you talk about your Cat.
It's like the Demetri Martin graph that indicates the ratio of cat conversation vs how "cute" you think the girl is. Speaking of Demetri Martin Here's a Video on Him and relationships
Cats rely strongly on body language to communicate. If you're wondering how your cat is feeling read on.
Pissed Off
Your cat may be pissed if you see a lifting or constant shaking of a paw or paws. The more times the paw is shaken, the stronger the cat's feeling; this can sometimes be a four paw affair with each paw being lifted and shaken in turn. This behavior is possibly related to the identical action displayed after stepping into water. Displeasure at a situation can be shown by moving the ears back and rapidly swishing the tail.
If your cat is Not Happy, Mildly Vexed you'll notice the swishing or sweeping of the tail in a wide swath, in mid-air or against a person. Tail flicking indicates inner conflict, while wide tail swishing shows external conflict. Further irritation may result in the cat moving or leaving the room and even physical aggression.Happy
You know you're cat is happy when it kneads with the paws on a person or, for example, a favorite blanket or sleeping spot. Young kittens knead their mother's nipples to stimulate the feeding reflex in her so that her milk flows for the kittens to suckle on. Cats may knead for a short or extended period of time; the extended period is sometimes interpreted by people as a sign of discomfort or restlessness, but it is more likely that the cat is happy. Most cats will demonstrate this for about ten minutes at the longest, although some have been known to knead and suckle on their favorite human's shirt or ear lobe over the course of an entire night. Researchers at Oxford University have demonstrated that cats derive immense pleasure from kneading, similar to the relaxing sensation for humans from snacking on favorite foods or being massaged.
Relaxed
Your cat is relaxed when it's sprawling on the side or back and, possibly, rolling about; this may be seen, for example, when a person enters the room or stirs from their seat. Sometimes they roll over onto their back and shake their paws in the air. This behavior shows complete relaxation. The cat may display this at the same time as the person's movement.
Affection
I call it "make out time" buy most cats will give you "kisses" and show their affection by pressing of the face or top of the head against a person's body (head rubbing), leaving a scent to mark the cat's territory; or rubbing in quick succession. Cats may also blink slowly as an expression of affection or security.
Many cats also use a question mark-shaped tail to show desire to greet someone they are fond of. They will also stretch to show they are content with their surroundings.
Submission
Upon being approached, the cat will fall down on its side, indicating it is not seeking attention and is unwilling to put up a fight.
Interested? or Not Interested?
The position of the ears communicates the degree of desire to engage with the situation around them. Ears up and moved slightly forward shows real interest in what is going on, while ears moved backward shows distaste and desire to not engage with the situation. Cats show disapproval by moving their ears back, an equivalent of a human frown. They also crouch and turn their back to the situation to indicate disinterest or unhappiness. A cat will either move a little or give a faint "meow" or "meck" if it does not want to be picked up and handled.
We're do a lot of pre-production for "Nine Lives" and part of that is this crappy site. As we make money we're planning to make improvements.
Right now we're having an official logo being designed, we also are working on scheduling shoots for the film.
My primary job in all of this is handling the traffic generation for this site. Just so happens that my day job is being an SEO/SEM consultant. So I should have no problem getting a solid page rank and position with will lead to a nice flow of organic traffic.
Part of it is using "offsite" web marketing companies that build quality links through SEO Blog Reviews or high PR posts.
Either way, my point is that over time I should have a lot of readers (like yourself) and those readers will statistically visit the links on this site, or use the search tool.
Over time with more traffic and we'll have more funding for the movie.
If you're reading this and are a qualified investor we'd love to discuss an equity position.
Thanks for visiting,. Leave us Comments,. We need you to be our eyes and ears in the latest developments in cat behavior.
After asking a number of friends and relatives, I'm finding that the idea of me shooting a documentary about domestic cat behavior is hard to accept.
I'm still going to follow through on the movie because I want to see it. I plan to shoot and edit digitally, saving thousands. We already own most of the AV equipment. Everyone being interviewed will not be paid (maybe free pizza) Where I need a budget and help is marketing the movie.
We need a buzz about this movie before it's released. I'm going to make improvements to this site as I'm able. We have plenty of equity points to sell for the right offers.
Right Now, My current most "bang for your buck" idea is to start link exchanging with other cat related sites. I think the process is that I put a link to a popular cat website then send the owners a copy of this post and they return the favor by posting a link to www.ninefelines.com using the title phrase "Cat Movie"
Step 2 is if you'd like to participate further send an email to partners@nineflines.com
