I was wondering today how many cat blogs are out there and of those how many people actually read them?

You'd think that there would be quite a few, and in the same breath, not that many readers.  Few things in life are as subject as a relationship with your cat.

After further review, it's arguable that any or most relationships are subjective.  The reason I say that is that no one really cares about the dynamics of any relationship they're not in.  Unless it's soap opera or realty show quality.  What I mean is that no one is actively going to listen to you talk about your Cat.
