We're do a lot of pre-production for "Nine Lives" and part of that is this crappy site. As we make money we're planning to make improvements.
Right now we're having an official logo being designed, we also are working on scheduling shoots for the film.
My primary job in all of this is handling the traffic generation for this site. Just so happens that my day job is being an SEO/SEM consultant. So I should have no problem getting a solid page rank and position with will lead to a nice flow of organic traffic.
Part of it is using "offsite" web marketing companies that build quality links through SEO Blog Reviews or high PR posts.
Either way, my point is that over time I should have a lot of readers (like yourself) and those readers will statistically visit the links on this site, or use the search tool.
Over time with more traffic and we'll have more funding for the movie.
If you're reading this and are a qualified investor we'd love to discuss an equity position.
Thanks for visiting,. Leave us Comments,. We need you to be our eyes and ears in the latest developments in cat behavior.
After asking a number of friends and relatives, I'm finding that the idea of me shooting a documentary about domestic cat behavior is hard to accept.
I'm still going to follow through on the movie because I want to see it. I plan to shoot and edit digitally, saving thousands. We already own most of the AV equipment. Everyone being interviewed will not be paid (maybe free pizza) Where I need a budget and help is marketing the movie.
We need a buzz about this movie before it's released. I'm going to make improvements to this site as I'm able. We have plenty of equity points to sell for the right offers.
Right Now, My current most "bang for your buck" idea is to start link exchanging with other cat related sites. I think the process is that I put a link to a popular cat website then send the owners a copy of this post and they return the favor by posting a link to www.ninefelines.com using the title phrase "Cat Movie"
Step 2 is if you'd like to participate further send an email to partners@nineflines.com
My brother and I already came up with the shooting schedule and the interview plans. I'd post those, but that's pretty much our script and would make seeing the final product a waste of your time. So, for now you'll get only teasers.
We're working to structure out the pre-production and narrow down who will be in the core crew. We should be shooting our first interview within the next few weeks. I believe I have a great candidate lined up.
Right now, it's a matter of building content for this site (like this post) and making sure we'll have consistent equipment. My brother has a med range "handy cam" and we'll be buying another higher grade digital video camera.
We choose to go digital because for the price of film,. we could buy tons of equipment and software. I'm sure the quality will be just fine for our purposes. Sound is important to me,. the movie should stand on it's own with the audio.
I'm starting to get my mind wrapped around everything down that we're putting it down on paper.
:)
